The First High Tunnel HarvestThe first high tunnel harvest was a huge success! Below is a sampling of the beautiful produce that came out of it.
Napa Cabbage
Also called Chinese or celery cabbage. It has a delicate flavor and lighter color than most cabbages and is excellent in vegetable stir frys.
White Fleshed Baby Turnips
A two-for-one vegetable because both the leaves and root can be eaten. Leaves are often stewed in Southern cuisine, but are also excellent in soups. Roots are great roasted whole or sliced and eaten raw in salads.
Red Baby Bok Choi
A leafier variety than it's green relative. It gives a beautiful color element to Asian stir frys.

Placing Orders
We will email a list of available produce at the beginning of each week. Place orders via email on Wednesday for pick up on Friday in Charlottesville. Orders can be picked up from the farm with appointment! What's Growing Now?
